The Present Cross-Cultural Imperative In Social Psychology. The rise of cross-cultural approaches within social psychology and other of the social sciences may have the effect of saving a good deal of preliminary research that is geared expressly to phenomena within a single human group. In heterogeneous societies there is likely to be demand for information that by its formulation and progress already contains a cross-cultural dimension.
